SARK UCS/MVP Platform
SARK is based upon Open Source Asterisk 1.4 or Asterisk Business Edition Rev B or Rev C, depending upon your support requirements. The underlying operating system is a highly secure variant of Linux 2.6 RHEL4 (CentOS4.2) developed by Mitel Networks. Mitel market the product under the trade name MAS. A community release version known as SME Server is also available from www.smeserver.org. The SARK workbench GUI and HPE can be downloaded from Aelintra free of charge. They are released under the terms of the GPL and other licenses.
SARK UCS/MVP Variants
SARK can be delivered as a software only product downloadable from Aelintra limited. You may purchase support for the SARK software from Aelintra Limited and Aelintra Authorised Resellers.
SARK can also be purchased, pre-installed on Aelintra approved servers.
SARK can be installed and run-up by Aelintra directly onto the customers own server(s) (provided only that such servers meet or exceed Aelintra/Digium mimimum performance and storage requirements for SARK/Asterisk).
All systems may optionally be ordered in "flatpack" form. For Flatpack, Aelintra will build, test and configure the PBX to your exact requirements so that it is truly plug and go when it arrives on site.
